Invitation
To Submit Qualifications For The Lehigh Valley International
Airport Sound Insulation Program
Work to
include alterations and modifications to groups of approximately
35-55 existing, occupied homes or apartments per bidded contract.
Approximately 200 additional homes or apartments of various
types and sizes in neighborhoods surrounding the Lehigh Valley
International Airport (Catasauqua, Hanover-Northampton, Hanover-Lehigh,
Whitehall, PA) are to receive the above treatments during
the coming year to achieve interior protection against aircraft
noise intrusion. This includes, but is not limited to, replacement
of existing windows and doors, door weather stripping, interior
ceiling and wall modifications, mechanical and electrical
modifications, and related items: all completed in accordance
with project plans and specifications.
This program
is sponsored by the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority under
the "Airport Improvement Program", a "grant-in-aid"
program, administered by the Federal Aviation Administration.
ALL CONTRACTORS MUST PRE-QUALIFY FOR FAA GRANTS. Interested
contractors are invited to procure CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION

Qualification
statements must be submitted in completed form to the above
Representative no later than three weeks prior to Bid Opening.
