Lehigh Valley International Airport Holds 11th Annual Holiday Festival of Trees

The Lehigh Valley International Airport is currently holding their 11th Annual Holiday Festival of Trees. The event takes place December 1, 2007 through January 1, 2008. Tree farms donated trees for local schools and organizations to decorate. Paula Bonstein, Business Development Coordinator said, "We are enthused to see how the community works together to bring holiday cheer to our passengers at this time of year."

The tree farms include: Beisel's Christmas Tree Hill, Crystal Spring Tree Farm, Hidden Pines Tree Farm, Merwine Farms & Nursery, Walker's Tree Farm, Werley's Christmas Tree Farm, Whispering Pines Tree Farm, White Christmas Tree Farm and Yenser's Tree Farm.

The schools and organizations include: Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit#21, Dream Come True, East Hills Middle School, Farmersville Elementary School, Fountain Hill Elementary School, Freemansburg Elementary School, George D. Steckel Elementary School, James Buchanan Elementary School, Kernsville Elementary School, Kratzer Elementary School, Lower Macungie Middle School, Moore Elementary School, Mosser Elementary School, Northampton Borough Elementary Schools, Northwestern Lehigh Middle School, Paxinosa Elementary School, Springhouse Middle School and Trexler Middle School.

Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and is served by Air Canada's Air Georgian, Allegiant, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Northwest, United Express and US Airways. LVIA serves a twelve county area with a population base of 3.6 million people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas.
