The Results are in. Lehigh Valley Residents are Pleased with Allegiant Air Service from the Lehigh Valley International Airport
Lehigh Valley, PA—The results have been tallied by Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority from the "Tell Allegiant Where to Go Next" survey that took place during Musikfest and the winners are Las Vegas,.Ft. Lauderdale,.and Ft. Myers. The completed survey will be sent to Maurice Gallagher, President and CEO of Allegiant Air. Respondents asked Allegiant to add Las Vegas, Ft. Lauderdale and Ft. Myers to their list of destinations from Lehigh Valley International Airport. Allegiant Air will start service to Ft. Lauderdale on November 14. Those who have flown on Allegiant were asked about their experience. Over 3,100 surveys were collected during the 10 day period of Musikfest. Over 700 of the respondents had already used Allegiant to either Orlando/Sanford or Tampa/St. Petersburg International Airports. Nearly all gave Allegiant high marks for service and value. Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and is served by Air Canada's Air Georgian, Allegiant, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Northwest, United Express and US Airways. LVIA serves a twelve county area with a population base of 3.6 million people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas. The airport is entirely funded by user fees; no property tax dollars are used for the airport's capital improvements or for its day-to-day operation.
