22ND Annual Pennsylvania Aviation Conference Held In The Lehigh Valley.

Lehigh Valley, PA - The Aviation Council of Pennsylvania
and the PENNDOT Bureau of Aviation are pleased to announce the 22nd
Annual Pennsylvania Aviation Conference. The Conference will be
hosted by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority and will be held
on October 2 - 4, 2002 at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center
in Fogelsville, PA.
The theme of the Conference this year is "Securing the Future
of Aviation." "Security and funding are the hot topics
for all involved in the aviation industry," commented Larry
Krauter, Director of Planning and Engineering for the Lehigh-Northampton
Airport Authority. He went on to say, "This year's Conference
will focus on topics that are top priorities for all involved in
aviation. For example, one topic is "the future of the Airport
System in Pennsylvania" and another subject will be on "Airport
and Aviation Security Issues." "On Friday, we will be
joined by USAirways Vice President of Government Affairs, Rosemary
Murray and Frank Berardino, President of GRA, Inc. to discuss the
future of the
airline industry."
Another aspect of the Conference is a tradeshow where exhibitors
involved in the aviation industry can promote their products and/or
services to the attendees of the Conference.
Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania
and serves a twelve county area with a population of 2.5 million
people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in the
eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas.
