Lehigh Valley International Airport Breaks Passenger Record in July

Pa. - Airport officials announced today that passenger traffic hit a new single-month high last month. In July, 92,270 travelers utilized the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) exceeding July 2003 of 89,614 passengers. July passenger volumes were up 2.96% above July 2003 records. Year-to-date, 615,960 passengers have used the airport, compared to 546,341 in 2003, a 12.74% overall increase. Most airlines at LVIA reported increases.
"We continue to see an increasing number of travelers in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey using LVIA," commented George F. Doughty, Executive Director for the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority. Doughty went on to say, "We continue to focus on the customer experience, keeping it easy, efficient and affordable."

International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and
is served by Air Canada's Air Georgian, Continental Express, Continental
Connection, Delta Connection, Northwest Airlines, Southeast Airlines,
United Express and US Airways. LVIA serves a twelve county area
