Allegiant Air Continues to Expand Service from the Lehigh Valley International Airport, but Lehigh Valley Residents Want More

Lehigh Valley, PA— Allegiant Air is expanding rapidly at the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA). They carried a record of 16,525 passengers to and from LVIA in July. The response to Allegiant's service at LVIA has been dramatic and Allegiant is looking for new possibilities to serve Lehigh Valley residents. So we are asking you to tell Allegiant where to go. Allegiant Air began service from the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) in December of 2005 to Orlando/Sanford International Airport. In December of 2006, Allegiant Air added the Tampa/St. Petersburg International Airport to their route system from LVIA.

Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and is served by Air Canada's Air Georgian, Allegiant, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Northwest, United Express and US Airways. LVIA serves a twelve county area with a population base of 3.6 million people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas.
