New Limousine and Taxi Service Begins at
Lehigh Valley International Airport

PA. - Airport officials have announced a new ground transportation
service for passengers at Lehigh Valley International Airport. Airport
Taxi & Limousine started service from LVIA on May 10, 2000. "We
are dedicated to providing the Lehigh Valley International Airport's
customers with prompt, courteous and affordable ground services,
7 days a week, 24 hours a day," stated Thomas Joseph, President
of Airport Taxi & Limousine.
"The need for
adequate and reliable ground transportation is a necessity to the
Airport's continued growth and flight schedules. In the past, passengers
have had difficulty getting adequate service," stated George F.
Doughty, Executive Director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
"The Airport has experienced significant passenger traffic growth
this year and the need is there to increase our ground transportation
services."
Airport Taxi
& Limousine is now operating with five brand new Silver Grey Mercury
Grand Marquis' and one Silver Grey Chevrolet Van. Additional vehicles
will be added as needed. Their rate schedule is very competitive
with other existing ground transportation companies currently serving
the Airport. Airport Taxi & Limousine has a counter in the lower
level baggage claim area of LVIA. All drivers have been through
specialized customer service training, are uniformed and are fully
licensed by PennDOT to provide the service. Airport Taxi & Limousine
