Lehigh Valley Air Reservation Numbers Proves Strong Start For Service

Lehigh Valley, PA – Airport officials announced today that Lehigh Valley Air is getting a strong response to its new Florida service plan. Since the announcement was made FEBRUARY 17, 2005, for Lehigh Valley Air to begin service this month, 10,979 reservations have been made. The reservations are ranging from far and wide airport officials noted.

Cary Evans, Executive Vice President of Lehigh Valley Air stated, “These booking levels are noteworthy.” He went on to say, “We are working hard to keep the momentum strong.”

George Doughty, Airport Executive Director commented, “We have people making reservations from as far South as Delaware and as far North as New York. The strong numbers are indicative of the need for this service.” He further commented, “There are still seats available for travelers from the South wanting to visit the Lehigh Valley over the Easter holiday weekend.”

Lehigh Valley Air provides regularly-scheduled public charter flights that operate daily under a published schedule. The service is provided by Aviation Advantage Inc. d/b/a Lehigh Valley Air headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The management of Lehigh Valley Air has reliably and safely transported millions of passengers using scheduled public charters over the past 20 years. Fares are $79 to $143 each way, plus taxes/fees (see below), depending upon availability of seats at time of booking. Seats are limited for each date of travel and fare level. Reservations can be made at www.flylvair.com or by calling 1-888-FLY-LVAIR (1-888-359-5824). All fares are one-way and subject to change. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9 each way, September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 each way and Federal Tax of $3.20 per flight segment (one take-off and one landing).
