Continental Connection Announces New Nonstop Service From the Lehigh Valley International Airport to Boston

Pa. - CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection announced today it will commence new daily nonstop service from the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) to Boston’s Logan International Airport. The airline will offer the only nonstop flights to Boston from LVIA when the service begins on April 18, 2005.
“We realize travelers in the Northeast Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey areas are in need of convenient flights to Boston, so we are pleased to be able to offer this new nonstop service,” said Lonnie Sweet, CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection’s Director of Ground Services. “We’ve researched the market and realized a void that needed to be filled since US Airways stopped serving this market in 2004. We expect the Boston route to be popular with both business and leisure travelers.”

The new CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection flights complement existing Continental service for LVIA including daily, nonstop jet service to Continental’s Cleveland Hopkins hub and bus connections to its New York/Newark International hub. Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and is also served by Air Canada, Continental, Delta, Lehigh Valley Air, Northwest, TransMeridian, United and US Airways.
