Southeast Airlines Announces Fourth Flight From The Lehigh Valley International Airport To Florida

Lehigh Valley, Pa. - Southeast Airlines, Inc. and Lehigh Valley International Airport officials announced today an expansion of nonstop jet service from Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) to Orlando/Sanford, Florida. This will be the second nonstop flight to the Orlando area. The new service will begin May 1, 2003. Fares to all Florida destinations on Southeast Airlines begin as low as $59* each way.

"This additional flight will give our customers even more low-fare choices from LVIA to Florida," commented George F. Doughty, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Executive Director. Tom Kolfenbach, CEO Southeast Airlines stated, "We are very pleased with the excellent response Southeast Airlines has received since we began service this past August to Orlando/Sanford, Tampa/St. Petersburg and Ft. Lauderdale areas from the Lehigh Valley International Airport and felt it necessary to add this additional flight to handle the passenger demand."

Also, in other new airline news, Interstate Jet will begin nonstop service to Atlanta on FEBRUARY 20, 2003 for as low as $59** (each way), as well as, nonstop service to Los Angeles on April 3, 2003 for as low as $99** (each way).

Lehigh Valley International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and serves a twelve county area with a population of 2.5 million people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas.

*Flights Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Seats are limited and may not be available on each flight. Flights are public charters (PC-01-396) (PC-02-267); charter operator/air carrier is Southeast Airlines. See Operator Participant Contract for details. Price doesn't include up to $6 PFCs, up to $5 in September 11th security fees per roundtrip, and a $3 Federal Excise Tax per segment. A segment consists of one takeoff and one landing.
