Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Announces
New Director
Of Public Safety

PA - George F. Doughty, Executive Director announced today that
Alvin "Skip" Fairchild Jr. has been appointed Director of Public
Safety for the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority. Fairchild holds
a BA degree from East Stroudsburg University, a Masters of Public
Administration from Kutztown University and is a graduate of the
FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. A veteran Law Enforcement
Officer, Fairchild served as the Director of Public Safety and Chief
of Police in Easton, Pennsylvania.
"We are excited
to have Skip on board at the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority",
said Doughty. "His background and expertise will be a tremendous
asset to the Authority at this crucial time."
Lehigh Valley
International Airport is located near Allentown, Pennsylvania and
serves a twelve county area with a population of 2.5 million people.
The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania
and northern New Jersey areas.
