Lehigh Valley,
Pa. - Airport officials reported passenger traffic for January
2001 is showing strong continued growth. 69,791 passengers passed
through the Lehigh Valley International Airport, a 6.87% increase
over January 2000 when 65,303 travelers utilized the Airport.

Reported George F. Doughty, Executive Director for the Lehigh-Northampton
Airport Authority. "We continue to attract more travelers from
throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey. Once a
traveler experiences the ease and comfort of using the Lehigh Valley
International Airport, they are certain to return. Our affordable
nonstop jet service from Delta Express, Pan Am and USAirways to
Orlando, Florida, should fuel continued growth in the use of the
airport."
