Lehigh Valley International Airport announces
additional jet service by Comair-The Delta Connection
Lehigh Valley,
Pa. - Lehigh Valley International Airport and COMAIR-The Delta
Connection officials today announced an expansion of daily nonstop
jet service from Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) to Cincinnati/Northern
Kentucky International Airport beginning FEBRUARY 2, 1999, with a fourth
daily departure.
"This additional
flight will give our customers even more convenient schedules to
COMAIR's and Delta Air Line's Cincinnati hub. Beginning May 1,1999,
LVIA travelers can also utilize the COMAIR hub in Orlando to Florida
destinations by flying nonstop on the new Delta Express service
to Orlando and connect on COMAIR," reported Bruce Tarletsky, LVIA's
Director of Business Development. He also said, "We appreciate the
valuable service that COMAIR has provided travelers in the Eastern
Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey region since they began service
at LVIA in 1993." With the addition of this new flight, Delta Air
Lines, in conjunction with COMAIR and Delta Express, beginning May
1, 1999, will provide the most daily jet departures of any airline
from the Lehigh Valley International Airport with 8 flights.

with more convenient schedules to our Cincinnati hub, said Charles

tremendous support from the Lehigh Valley community since we began
service there 5 years ago."
As a Delta Connection
carrier, COMAIR is a partner in Delta's worldwide network and offers
travelers Delta SkyMiles for each COMAIR flight. COMAIR's schedule
at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport offers LVIA
connecting travelers 275 daily departures to 65 nonstop destinations.
All COMAIR flights operated out of Lehigh Valley International Airport
are operated with the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet. COMAIR operates
the largest fleet of regional jets in the world and currently has
72 jets in its fleet of 97 aircraft.
The new nonstop
COMAIR flight #3890 will depart LVIA at 8:30AM and arrive in Cincinnati
at 10:10AM. The return flight #3799 will depart Cincinnati at 8:55PM
and arrive in LVIA at 10:33PM. This increase in service will continue
to allow Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey residents
to use the hassle-free Lehigh Valley International Airport at fares
that are competitive with big city airports.
